For example; wood is a great insulator but requires lots of maintenance
and has some other natural defects. Solid vinyl is a maintenance free
product but, does not insulate as well as wood. STARMARK uses a
cellular composite frame that has natural insulating abilities.
STARMARKS cellular composite frame system out performs both wood and
solid vinyl window systems. Cellular composite windows are much
stronger and generate better energy values.
STARMARK window systems are considered the world’s most energy
efficient windows with double-hung window U-Factors as low as .24 for double pane and an amazing U-.15 for triple pane.
STARMARK
windows has an unbeatable warranty from the manufacturer. Because of
their frame construction all hardware is recessed into the frame. They
also offer a special triple pane high performance HEATSHIELD glass
system, allowing for u-values to be the lowest in the industry. The
durability of the frame is un-matched and a good fit for a harsh
environment.
STARMARK windows are available in the following systems:

Replacement window systems: sometimes called a pocket window (designed
to be installed into an existing window frame).

New construction system: an applied nail flange so window can be nailed to exterior of home.
Available styles: double hung’s, casements, sliders, awnings, bays and bows.
Special features: exterior
colors available, stainable or paintable interior, real SDL grilles
(single divided lites). Also available in a special triple pane
HEATSHIELD glass systems making this window system capable of achieving
u-values as low as .13.

Strong Windows utilizes only 'best practices' methods in it's installations. Outdated methods using fiberglass insulation around window frames are still prevalent in many companies today, which still allow air leakage and do a poor job of insulating. We at Strong Windows use minimal expanding window & door foam to fill all voids around our windows, and we utilize drip caps integrated into the wall system instead of relying solely on caulking to waterproof the windows.
Our exterior metalwork is custom formed to provide a virtually maintenance-free exterior. Instead of wrapping the exteriors in a flat look which hides architectural detail, we form our metalwork in a number of styles to accent the home.
